About Farmers Garden
Paul and Heather Watkins began selling fruit and vegetables 14 years ago.
After the arrival of Owen and Eleanor on the scene to join older brother William, Heather wanted to find a source of local organic fruit and vegetables to feed her family.
It seemed a natural next step, when no local supplier could be found, to start selling and delivering it themselves.

They began supplying organic fruit, vegetables, dairy produce and salad alongside the ‘ordinary stuff’ 4 years ago and for the last 2 years have been exclusively buying and selling organic food.
Llangernyw home of organic produce
Working from their home near the picturesque Welsh village of Llangernyw, they source and buy quality organic produce to deliver to individuals as well as to discerning shops and restaurants.
Fresh organic produce
We like to know that as we are traveling to buy our organic produce it may still be growing!
We can have it in the boxes and on its way to you within 24hours of it being picked, now that’s what we call fresh.
We’re delighted that scientific research now supports what we always believed, that organic food is better for us. “There are more good things in organic food (The Times, Oct 28 2007)”, more vitamins, minerals and antioxidants too, that can all have a positive and beneficial impact on our health.
Organic Suppliers Conwy North Wales
Our aim is to source as much as we can locally, in Wales wherever possible. We want to support local producers as well as reducing food miles. DEFRA research shows that driving to do the shopping is responsible for an amazing 70% of all food miles. We think it’s better for us to deliver to 40 homes in geographical order, than for 40 consumers to go out to the shops.
Organic suppliers & producers
It is important to us that we have a good relationship with our producers and suppliers. We like the idea that organic foods are produced using traditional methods involving good husbandry and working in harmony with nature and the planet.
By buying at source, we can get the best prices for our customers but the farmers and growers are happy too.
